Please tell us about yourself

I grew up in Ohio where I was raised to love Christ. I love spending time outdoors with my husband and I spend a lot of my free time reading and writing. I love coffee and thrifting for craft supplies.

Tell the story of how you got to EC?

I enrolled in The Moody Bible Institute with the desire to graduate and step into disability ministry. However, God repeatedly placed me in roles where I was teaching young children with various learning challenges. At Moody, I received training in disability ministry and my work outside the school reinforced my knowledge as I taught children of all ages as an after-school teacher, nanny, and preschool teacher. My job at EC perfectly combines my passion for teaching with my calling to help students with learning disabilities reach their full potential as children made in the image of God.

What sets EC apart?

It has been evident from the moment I stepped on to the Midland Park location that the teachers are passionate and engaged in the lives of their students holistically. The spiritual life of the students is prioritized, allowing them to feel the love of Christ as they learn and grow.
